These 18-foot boards are kiln-dried to maximize structural predictability, ensuring your long-span framing configurations stay flat and uniform after installation.

Common Uses

Contractor & Builder Notes
  • Span Deflection Control: Given the 18-foot length, installing row-bridging or solid blocking at the mid-span points is critical to minimize floor bounce and prevent lateral rotation under load.
  • Crown Alignment: Carefully check the factory crown along the entire 18-foot edge before fastening. Install with the crown facing up so the structural dead weights naturally flatten out the framing line.
