Our 2×4 × 10' #2 Kiln-Dried Hem-Fir lumber is a versatile framing member commonly used where additional length is needed beyond standard studs. The 10-foot length is frequently used for taller wall layouts, plates, bracing, blocking, and general residential framing.
Hem-Fir provides a strong balance of workability, lighter handling, and consistent straightness. Kiln-drying reduces moisture content, helping material stay straighter and more predictable during layout, fastening, and installation compared to green lumber.
All material is kiln-dried, pulled, banded, and stored dry at our Boise lumberyard — so you’re loading framing-ready stock, not sorting through mixed or damaged piles.
