The 2×4 × 10' #2 Kiln-Dried Douglas Fir is a standard framing stud length used in residential construction where slightly longer wall runs or reduced waste are preferred.
Douglas Fir is the primary structural framing species in the Northwest and is widely specified for its strength, stiffness, and consistent grading. Kiln-dried material installs straighter and more predictably than green lumber.
