Product Description

2x8x18' #2 Douglas Fir is green (unseasoned) structural framing lumber commonly used for floor joists, deck framing, roof framing, and other load-bearing applications in residential and light commercial construction.

Douglas Fir is known for its strength, stiffness, and dependable grading, making it one of the primary framing species used throughout the western United States. While kiln-dried lumber is more common in Idaho, green framing lumber is widely used in regions such as California and performs reliably in structural applications as it dries in service after installation.
